Hi,
Unable to set (did not find where) default spell checking, documents opening English as default. Every time I have to set spell checking language to my own language on each document.
Is there any way to configure this?
Thanks

Hello @Urbanovits,
What is your OS? To change default spell-checking language you would need to change the document language - it can be done by substituting the existing templates from which new files are created. For example, on Windows the templates adjustment can be done by following the steps described here
Hi!
where can I change the template for new documents when I have a flatpak installation on Linux Mint?
The communicated path from another thread is not correct (at least on my system)
~/.local/share/flatpak/app/org.onlyoffice.desktopeditors/x86_64/stable/active/files/bin/opt/onlyoffice/desktopeditors/converter/empty is wrong on my system. Here I see a path like /home/peter/.local/share/onlyoffice but that path does not lead to subfolders as described.
When I go to /home/peter/.local/share/flatpak I only see two folders there: DB and repro.
Can someone guide me to the correct path?
Thanks!
Peter
I’ve run into the same issue—would be great to have a way to set a default spell check language globally. Right now, manually changing it per document is the only option I’ve found.
Hello,
On Linux Mint the flatpak path is: ~/.local/share/flatpak/app/org.onlyoffice.desktopeditors/current/some hash/files/bin/opt/onlyoffice/desktopeditors/converter/empty
@faiqharris There is no other way to set default language except of templates method
