Issues on External Storage files in Nextcloud + OnlyOffice

DMS (platform) version: self-hosted
OS: Linux Debian 11 (bullseye)
Browser version: Firefox 100+ (Windows 10)

We set up our network files as external storage in nextcloud, via SMB/CIFS share. Files are synchronized each 5 minutes by a cron task. In unclear, frequent cases, there is a problem when editing a file from external storage: the updated file does not appear as such to another user, as if an unupdated cache would do the job (but it’s not local cache as browser’s). Is there anything we can do to prevent this behavior? Is there such a thing as OnlyOffice cache management in Nextcloud? What would be the best practice and/or configuration to make sure that updating is successful and visible to alll users? Thanx in advance.
