Farsi Text Appearing Reversed in OnlyOffice Spreadsheet on Debian 12

Hello everyone,

I am currently using the latest version of OnlyOffice on a Debian 12 server. I have installed all the necessary Farsi fonts, and Farsi text works correctly in OnlyOffice’s Word editor. However, in the Spreadsheet (Excel) component, all Farsi text appears reversed or backward. I have tried different fonts, but the issue persists.

Has anyone experienced this problem, and do you know of any solutions or workarounds? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please provide the following additional info:

  1. The version of the Document Server
  2. Original file with Farsi font

I am using version 8.2.2.22
I have also installed Persian fonts
I only have this problem in the spreadsheet section.
I have installed OnlyOffice on Linux Debian 12 directly and connected it to NextCloud
How should I fix the problem?

Please share the particular font files that you installed so we could check

I am sharing the files
But I don’t think the problem is with the font type, I am using the following fonts
arial,tahoma,zar,b homa, ,…
Also, it doesn’t recognize the zip extension when I upload it
The number of fonts is large

You can upload the file with fonts to some file hosting provider and give us the link
