Right now we are actively working to improve all aspects of RTL, I will update this thread when we have something to share.

Hello,
I am using onlyoffice version 8.2.0.143 but i have a problem with Arabic in spreadsheet cell, when I write the words it’s appear in reverse form. for example the word “الرجل” appear “لجرلا”.

Currently, the RTL support in the Spreadsheet editor is limited to the interface and formula field. Unfortunately, full RTL support for cells is not yet available. However, I’m pleased to inform you that we are actively working on implementing complete RTL support for the Spreadsheet editor in the upcoming 8.3 release, planned for Q1 2025.

Hi ,
My question is for configuration level as i have integrated only office in my application where we were using some other editor previously.
Can anyone please let me know, if we have any configuration in only office so that it will automatically write from right to left.
And i am trying to select different different languages from bottom of the editor
still its only writing data in English i am trying to use it for Arabic.
Even tough i have tried options available over internet to use to write data in RTL
and select language as Arabic but nothing worked.
Version of my editor is 8.1.3.
If anyone can answer if this feature is available or not and if yes how we can use it .
I will be really helpful .

Please start a new topic for this query. It does not seem to be related to the general RTL support after all, but to the issues with document language.
Also please note that this version is outdated. I recommend updating to the actual version 8.2.2 and checking out the situation again before submitting new topic.
I have a copy. 8.2.2.22 have installed it, but unfortunately there is still a problem with the word upside down in the spreadsheet section, or Excel. How long will this problem be fixed? I really need a fix for this issue.
I hope this problem is resolved soon by the good team of this company, because we have many clients who have been directly involved in this issue and there has been a lot of dissatisfaction.
