Wordpress embedded doesn't seem to work

I’ve installed OnlyOffice 8.3.1.25 on my arm server with docker and configured my ngnix server to provide https (https://docs.plord.co.uk). The welcome page works as does the example.

I also installed the wordpress plugin 2.2.0 and setup access -

This seems to work - ie I can upload a document in wordpress, and when I click on it from the Files menu onlyoffice is opened. Perfect.

I’ve created a wordpress page containing a link to the document and the document embedded.

When I access this page, Test embedded doc – Petes Home Page, I see the document link (which works) but the embedded block doesn’t show anything -

Nothing is shown on the browser console output.

Anything I can do to debug further ?

Many thanks.

Hello @plord

When I access this page, Test embedded doc – Petes Home Page, I see the document link (which works) but the embedded block doesn’t show anything -

Did you enable embedded mode for this block?

Also please let us know the plugin version.

Thanks for the response.

The page Test embedded doc – Petes Home Page contains two blocks - one a link (which works) and one embedded (which doesn’t show up).

Plugin version is 2.2.0

Thanks.

Thank you, we are checking the situation.

Dear @plord
We are trying to reproduce the issue, but without luck so far. However, we have noticed ‘Block Visibility’ in your screenshot. Is it some additional plugin? Could you please provide a link to it?
Additionally, please try to disable it and double-check the situation.

Thanks for the followup. I’ve disabled this plugin but don’t see any difference. I’ve also tried disabling caching and some other plugins.

One thing I’ve noticed is that my browser doesn’t seem to request any javascript files - is this expected ?

Anything I can do to dig further ? Any logs that might be of interest for example ?

If it matters I’m running behind nginx (as described here document-server-proxy/nginx/minimal.conf at master · ONLYOFFICE/document-server-proxy · GitHub).

Pete

Thank you for your update, we need some time for internal checks. I will contact you as soon as possible.

Dear @plord
Thank you for valuable data! We have found a bug and we have started working on it.
The bug is related to Astra theme that you are using (Appearance → Themes). As a workaround solution, please try switching to different theme.
Additionally, we will notify you once the fix is released.

Ah, brilliant, many thanks. Yes, switching to a different theme gets embedded working but messes up my site!, so I would prefer to keep astra if I can.

Thanks,

Pete

Testing on another site I found poseidon Poseidon WordPress Theme – ThemeZee didn’t work either.

Thank you @plord
Confirmed, this is the same issue. We are working on it.
