Type of installation of the Document Server (docker, deb/rpm, exe): self hosted

When copying/pasting from an EXTERNAL word doc, open in word, into a document in OO, I get this message, when the source material contains an image:
We can’t paste this image from the Clipboard, but you can save it to your device and insert it from there, or you can copy the image without test and paste it into the document.
Sure enough, copying the image(s), one at a time, works.
Is there a fix planned for this limitation?
My users expect OO docs to behave like Word docs, and for the most part they do. But this is a glaring deficiency.
Thanks.

You should talk to your marketing dept. I get nasty grams about opening too many tickets (justified or not), so I post here when it makes sense to.
