am new to Only Office and trying to figure out how to convert date/time from text format to date format (needed in later steps).
With MS, it was very easy with “Text to columns” option, but here it does not seem to work the same way. The data must stay in one column.
Any help much appreciated!
Not sure if I understand how you expect Text to columns to work, but the easiest way to convert text into date and time format is to use following formula:
=DATEVALUE(A1)+TIMEVALUE(A1)
At first, it will print an encoded date and time format, but you can select necessary number format for the cell in the Home tab. All options are available when clicking drop-down menu for Number format > More formats > Date. You can select a format to your liking.
