Share folder with External person

Cloud 5 User version:
I can share a file with an external person so then can edit it via a link but the option to share a folder is not available as far as I can see.

Is this restricted?

That’s right, you can share a folder with portal users only.

Yes your right you can not share folders vai external link. However I figured a way around it.

Set up the folders you want to share and have external people edit on a different storage platform and integrate within Open office. I have used onedrive to set up shareable folders for external people and have the same folders in Open Office. This allows Sync between the two and works well.
