Thanks. Please try running Desktop Editors in debug mode according to the article:
Once Desktop Editor runs in debug, please open devtools, then open a document and reproduce the issue. Share screenshots of any errors you find there after that.
Thank You for trying to help but unfortunately I was unable to do it. I did it step by step but I can’t pass this:
To start working in debug mode, right-click any editable field on the top toolbar (for example, font list combo) and click Inspect Element , or click anywhere in the document and press F1 .
Did you add space before --ascdesktop-support-debug-info? When document is opened and F1 is pressed, it should open Help as on your screenshot and another window with devtools if everything is done correctly.
Also, in order to test wether your Outlook can handle mailto links please perform this simple test:
Create new empty spreadsheet:
Right-click on any empty cell;
From context menu select Hyperlink to create one;
In the field “Link to” paste mailto:<address> and if needed set any display text.
Change <address> to any mailbox.
This will create similar link to the one that is used in Send plugin, try clicking it to see if Outlooks pops up that way.
New version just came out. Please note that after adding a flag to the shortcut you need to close the app and launch it again with this flag. Only after that you should be able to open devttols with F1.
Thanks for the patience. We have checked the situation and it turned out that Outlook (new) is not supported by the Send plugin so it cannot operate with it. Bug was registered on this issue and we are already working on the resolution.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Once any news comes up, I will let you know.
