Document Server version: 7.3.3.49
Type of installation of the Document Server: docker
OS: Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS
Browser version: Firefox 111.0
We have a quite long docx-file. 321KB / 126 pages. When trying to create a copy via “File” → “Save copy as” → “DOCX” a small windows with the message “Unknown error.” occurs. I tested the same function with another, very small file and it works without any problem. To test it any further i created a new file, only Lorem Ipsum text, no formating. It works fine until 110 pages. With the 111th page the “Unknown error.” starts to happen.
Is this something that can be fixed or get an proper error message?
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue with mentioned scenario.
Please provide some more information about the situation:
link to guide that you used to install Document Server;
log files of Document Server that are located in /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/ inside the container with Document Server for analysis (you can upload it to any storage and share via external link);
information about the storage app with which Document Server is integrated, e.g. Nextcloud, ownCloud, etc.
If possible please record a video demonstration of the issue for better understandng.
Hi, got same error: docserver 8.1.3.4 (docker) and Nextcloud 30.0.0 In my case i got errors with large tables. No any errors in /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/ The intersting thing that another files with another ladge content (like images or texts) saves normally. New users dont have permission to upload files, i leave here link to google docs with test file
First of all, please note that there is newer version is available. I recommend updating to see if the issue persists.
If it does, please share some additional information:
the origin of the provided document, i.e. in which app it was created;
screenshot of the browser console when pressing Save copy as;
version of the connector app for Nextcloud.
Also, please try executing the same scenario in the integrated test example and let me know the result. This example is available on the Welcome Page of Document Server when accessing it via its address. If it is disabled, you can also find an instruction on how to enable it in the first place.
