Printing Document

I can no long print Document after this latest Desktop Editors update (7.2.0-204). Spreadsheets print with no issues. I am running MX-21 Linux Xfce on x86

Hello @rod178
Could you please reproduce the issue and make videofile\screenshots? Also please let us know exact version of your OS.

Before reading your reply I sent the following to support Attached find a file, created in ONLYOFFICE 7.2.0-204 running under MX Linux
System: Kernel: 5.10.0-18-amd64 [5.10.140-1] x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 10.2.1

Desktop: Xfce 4.16.0 tk: Gtk 3.24.24 info: xfce4-panel wm: xfwm 4.16.1 vt: 7

       dm: LightDM 1.26.0 Distro: MX-21.2.1_x64 Wildflower October 20 2021

       base: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)

The issue is that this file will not print, neither to printer (Brother MFC-L2720DW or to a pdf, although prints under other apps eg Free Office Text Editor. Other (plain) text files seem to print in ONLYOFFICE with no issue

The file, attached, contains two imbedded PNG images, possibly that is the issue
Processing: GParted Encrpted Partition Sises SD and USB.docx…

PS seems that cannot upload the doc file

The same issue is present when the doc file contains an imbedded jpeg

Hello @rod178
I found your request and provided file in the Zendesk. We are checking the situation.

Hello @rod178
We are going to fix the described scenario (print doesn’t work) in future release of Desktop Editors (v.7.2.1). Unfortunately, I can’t provide the exact timeframes of release date.
Additionally, we found other issue with the file while we have been testing it and we added a bug to internal tracksystem (internal number - 59258).
Thank you for valuable data!

Thanks for the feedback. In the interim I can work around the Printing issue. On the plus side I’m happy that the problem was not at my end, initially I thought that it was a Printer malfunction.

regards
Rod

We’ll notify you when we release v.7.2.1. I’ll update this thread.
