Hello @MKVRC
Please provide us with details:

  1. identifying the filters (marking filters with a different color)

Do you mean this feature? Sort and filter data - ONLYOFFICE
Untitled

Syntax highlighting (highlighting using a different color)

Do you mean spellchecking (indication of errors in words) or something else? Please provide us with details on it.

Show formulas (highlighting using a different color)

This one as well, please point me to the similar feature in other editors or provide us with detailed description.

Hi Alexandre,

thanks for your response.

all the 3 options listed by me are already available in Libreoffice, Neo office and in Softmaker office.

Screen Shot 2023-08-11 at 15.22.09

above screen shot is from Libreoffice calc and in that if you notice filter in “d” column there is a dot to be seen, with this it’s easy to make out in which column filter is applied and I am asking for something similar in onlyoffice.

with regards to other 2 options (Syntax or value highlighting & Show formulas) please check in: Libraoffice → preferences → Libraoffice Calc → View or refer to the following snapshot. By default Syntax or value highlighting & Show formulas are disabled and to be enabled separately.

in Softmaker free office (Download FreeOffice free of charge)

planmaker free → file → properties (here too Syntax highlighting & Show formulas are disabled by default and to be enabled separately) for more details refer to the attached snapshot

should you need any more details then please let me know.

BTW I am using these apps on Mac OS Monterey, version 12.6.8

Hello @MKVRC

This point is still unclear for me. ONLYOFFICE has the similar feature that shows which column has applied a filter.

As for 2 other points (Syntax or value highlighting & Show formulas), we are discussing the situation. I will update this thread when we have something to share. Thank you for provided description!

Thank you for the update. checked and confirmed onlyoffice has a similar option from which column filter is applied…thank you for the clarification.

Will wait to hear from you on other 2 options…
