I’m preparing to reply to results presented by OnlyOffice team in the previous topic I created here. Yet, the following bug currently rendered OnlyOffice unable to open txt files on my another device:
The encoding of the art.txt file presented in this video is Linux standard UTF-8.
The art.txt shown in that video is the file from the linux package fortune-mod_3.20.0 with the .txt name extension added. I provide it here via the link to that very file located on my google drive. I will remove this file next Wednesday and update this thread accordingly.
This forum’s scripts somehow begun to reject posting the links to the google drive so I provide the link by parts. You will need to copy these parts of the link and unite them in the browser address field.
Here are the parts of the link to the art.txt file:

Hello @dimm
We’ve tried to reproduce the situation, but without success. I assume that we have to wait for next version of android app and double-check the situation one more time.
Sorry for inconvenience.
Sorry, but I’m not sure that additional logs will change the situation. But probably you can run one more test. On the provided video, you used Explorer to get the file. Is it possible to reproduce the issue, but open the file without Explorer? Just go to ‘On device’ and tap on the file. Will the situation change?
Here’s the video about that attempt. I was unable to open art.txt from the ‘On device’ (“На устройстве”) tab because this file didn’t appear there. It seems that at least one successful opening of the file is needed for that file to appear in this tab – I’ve additionally put art.txt in the OnlyOffice folder where examples are stored and the file wasn’t shown anyway. But art.txt appeared in ‘Recent’ (“Недавние”) so I tried to open it from there, with same result (‘refused due to convertation failure’).
Hello @dimm
Please re-run the test. Go to ‘On device’ > click the import button (yellow button on your video) and import art.txt file. After that please try to open this file from ‘On device’ directory.
Please let us know the result.
The only button in that video is not yellow but red-orange, with white ‘+’ on it. I assume you talked about this button. This button indeed is capable to add the file to the list though ‘download’ pictogram used for that – is misleading.
After adding the file, I opened it from the ‘On device’ list.
The result was fast-switching (1-2 sec) to plain light-gray base without white canvas and without the contents of the file but with ‘edit’ icon at the bottom right. Pressing this button brought to edit mode without white pages and without any text in the field, the keyboard is not appearing in this mode. Pressing ‘save’ (✓) brings back to the grey base screen.
Sorry to bother you again. Would you mind recording this test?
