Open and edit Document from Plugin in Desktop/Online Versions

Hello everybody,

I wonder if I can accomplish the following scenario with OO Desktop (and Online) Editors:

  • I have a Sheet with data, for example address data and a Text template file.

  • Now I’d like to open the text template document, insert data from the selected row in the sheet and finally save the text document under a new name using a macro or plugin within the sheet.

Unfortunately, I’m afraid that your goal cannot be achieved because there is no way to get data from XLSX document and parse it as DOCX data into the template document.
