I have onlyoffice installed within nextcloud but when generating a pdf of some document it is completely white. If I download the .docx it does bring content but not the generated pdf

Please provide more some information:

  • version and installation type (Docker, DEB/RPM, exe) of Document Server;
  • version of the connector app;
  • version of Nextcloud;
  • type and version of the browser that is used. e.g. Chrome, Firefox, etc;
  • the original document with which the issue is reproducible.

You can send me a link to the file via PM in terms of safety.
Also, does it happen with a particular file or all of them?

I’m facing the exact Problem. I’m using the cummunity-document-server for Nextcloud. Everything is latest Version. Doesn’t work for various Browsers.
Has the issue been solved?

Do you mean Nextcloud application Community Document Server? If yes, please note that this application is developed by Nextcloud team, hence to get help on it you need to contact them.

thanks for the reply. Still trying to figure out, if the server really is the problem or anything else. I will ask the nextcloud community. But here at least someone was facing the exact same issue.
I’ll post it here when I know more.

I have a question similar to this.

We are using Nextcloud via Hosting through Hetzner and are using following Versions

version and installation type of Document Server: 0.1.17 (https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/documentserver_community)

Only Office: 9.2.2
version of Nextcloud: 28.0.3 ( is shown as the most recent version)
Browser: Firefox (most recent version)

The Problem: We fixed the problem that only office can’t open PDf files by using PDF Viewer but we still can’t export Text-Documents as pdf. Basically any pdf function via Only Office seems to not work.
