I have Nextcloud and onlyoffice working correctly on the internal local network, with separate ssl servers, but when trying to access externally nextcloud works fine, but onlyoffice does not open the documents and shows: Could not connect to ONLYOFFICE. Please contact the administrator.
I believe I have to enable something to release this access please give me a light!

Please provide some more infromation:
- version and installation type of Document Server;
- version of Nextcloud;
- version of the connector app;
- information about proxy (if used);
- a screenshot of the connector settings: open the connector app settings, tap on Save button and make a screenshot of the page with pop-up message in top-right corner.
Also, after saving the settings please share the full log catalog of Document Server (you can upload it to your Nextcloud portal and share it via external link). Logs can be found in:

C:\Program Files\ONLYOFFICE\DocumentServer\Log\
for Windows;

/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/
for Linux (same path in Docker container).
