About the Linode Marketplace
Linode (as a part of Akamai Cloud Computing) is a cloud hosting provider headquartered in Philadelphia, US. It was founded in 2003 and focuses on providing Linux powered virtual machines to support a wide range of applications, serving more than 800,000 customers from all over the world.
The Linode Marketplace enables users to quickly deploy software applications to a Linode Compute Instance without the hassle of using the command line. It offers more than 100 One-Click Apps from various categories, including productivity, security, development, etc.
How to deploy ONLYOFFICE Docs on Linode
At the moment, on the Linode Marketplace, you can find the free community version of ONLYOFFICE Docs — online editors intended for using within your cloud platform (DMS, LMS, CMS, sync&share) such as WordPress, Moodle, Nextcloud, Confluence, Alfresco, etc.
Step 1: Log in to your Linode account or create a new one in case you’re new to Linode.
Step 2: Switch to the Marketplace section and create the Compute Instance for ONLYOFFICE Docs.
Step 3: Click the Create Linode button and wait for the installation to complete.
Step 4: Verify that the ONLYOFFICE Docs app has been fully installed.
Step 5: Access the installed ONLYOFFICE Docs. You can run the available test example to check the functionality of the editors.
