Hi everyone, I just installed OnlyOffice on docker to integrate with Nextcloud to replace Collabora, and it works brilliantly!
My current issue is that it defaults to dark mode, which doesn’t fit well with my NC theme and doesn’t look good.
Is there a way to default it to light mode for all users including shares (as in when I share a document to an unregistered user, it’s also in dark mode, can that also somehow default to light mode)?
Hello @dinosm
Please point me to the guide which you used for installation\integration. Also, did you try to switch theme option in the editor as it is described here? Enabling dark theme in ONLYOFFICE Docs - ONLYOFFICE

Hi Alexandre, thanks for chipping in.
I was playing around with it over the weekend and discovered that my Windows is set to have dark mode on programs/websites that support it, so I am guessing OnlyOffice is just respecting that OS-level setting. It threw me off because I can’t remember of any other programs or websites that respect that.
I set Windows to light mode and OnlyOffice opened up in light mode by default.
I could turn dark mode on/off from within OnlyOffice’s settings, so that’s not an issue.
I set Windows to light mode and OnlyOffice opened up in light mode by default.
This is expected behaviour. The editor theme adapts to the system automatically on first launch.
We are glad that the issue is solved.
