A new caption with the default settings will use both Arial and Cambria Math.
The main pre-filled text is Arial, there is one space using Cambria Math. If the user starts typing any new text, this will automatically be Cambria Math.
This in itself in an issue, besides that both fonts are unavailable in the list on the OnlyOffice desktop application for Linux, which is basically a second bug.
OS version: Linux Fedora 41
App version: 8.2.1.38 (flatpack)
I also tried this on MacOS, but there this issue does not occur.
I have a video and example file available. I can provide download links to my cloud storage. A previous post of mine was cancelled that included these links. For now I await any response from OnlyOffice before providing these links.
Hello @onlyoff-tim
Newer version of Desktop Editors is available. Please update your app and check out the situation again.
Just as in previous topic - a video should be enough for now.
See this link to download the video from my cloud drive.
- I updated the app by removing it first, and install it from scratch using flatpack.
- The video is created using a new file, rather than an existing file created with an older version of the app.
The same issue occurs.
Thanks for the video. We are checking out this situation.
We have registered tow bugs on following behaviors:
- Caption overlap when inserted;
- Usage of the Cambria Math font in the caption.
Also, it second bug is also related to the issue with space.
Thank you for reporting these issues. I will notify you once any of them is resolved.
