I created a chart in Excel which has some #N/A. Some in the middle, some at the end. The x-axis is showing dates, with the last few cells empty so that additional data can be added.
In Excel, the chart displays correctly: It ignores the empty cells at the end (which have no input for dates, #N/A for values) and ends the chart at the last date even though the data range extends further. It also ignores the values with #N/A in the middle rather than showing them as zero.
