Movable rows and columns (drag & drop)

Ability to move rows and columns by selecting the entire row or column and then dragging it.

It would also be pretty useful to move multiple rows or columns at once. As well as moving a column to the row axis (and vice-versa).

It would also make for a good user experience if it moved fluidly (in real-time) while dragging it either direction.

This feature is available in Google Sheets, Obsidian and others. It’s such an important productivity feature, which also modernizes the office suite and makes it so much more intuitive instead of having to fuff about with multiple operations: insert column, select column, copy, select new column, paste… that’s incredibly tedious.

Please add this. It’s currently a deal-breaker for my group of people and I’d love being able to the workflow over to ONLYOFFICE.

Hello @Eudyptula,
It is currently possible to move the entire row or column (you should hold Ctrl key and then choose the row/column that you’d like to move and drag it).
As for moving multiple rows and columns at once, fluid moving, moving a column to the row axis (and vice-versa) suggestions, we will analyze them. Also, could you clarify which specific product you are using?

This doesn’t move the column or row, but its content, overriding the content you move it into. This is a basic feature imo, all other spreadsheet apps I have used it do it seamesly.

You can also hold Shift when moving, it won’t override the data, but will rather push the data one row up/down

Thank you, that’s what I was looking for! I did search but I only found this forum post. Any way to make this the default behaviour of click and drag?

Note: You need to hold SHIFT before you click on the row.

Unfortunately, no way to make this the default behavior for now
