May I set date format in Spreadsheet independently of regional settings?

I’d prefer to use yyyy-mm-dd as short date format independently of regional settings. It looks like no such feature now.

It is possible to change date format for the cells by opening Number Format menu with combination CTRL+1 and selecting needed format in the drop-down list:

Thank you, but that’s not suitable. So, it looks like the answer is NO, we can’t change default date format.

You are looking for possibility to set a specific date format that will be used whenever you insert date, e.g. with combination Ctrl+;, despite of the format predefined by Regional Settings, is that correct?

Yes, like this. Bit more concrete I’d like to have yyyy-mm-dd as default date format independently of default one for the Regional settings used at this very moment.
