I’d prefer to use yyyy-mm-dd as short date format independently of regional settings. It looks like no such feature now.

It is possible to change date format for the cells by opening Number Format menu with combination CTRL+1 and selecting needed format in the drop-down list:

You are looking for possibility to set a specific date format that will be used whenever you insert date, e.g. with combination Ctrl+;, despite of the format predefined by Regional Settings, is that correct?
Yes, like this. Bit more concrete I’d like to have yyyy-mm-dd as default date format independently of default one for the Regional settings used at this very moment.

sorry for bumping this a year later, but is this still being worked on? same boat as sergei where i’d like to use a universal date format of yyyy-mm-dd
