Hello, i was wondering if i can “protect” a string of text so it cant be erased from the document.
Lets say in my document i set a title Description and i want other users to come and write a description, but i dont want them to be able to delete the title.
PS: i know about the OnlyOffice forms but im only interested in protecting certain text, not the whole document.

Unfortunately, currently, the functionality of protecting a part of a text document for modification is not implemented.
We have the enhancement suggestion number 49287 registered in our internal tracker to add such functionality in future releases. However, we do not have any estimated time frames of the release available yet.

At the moment, ONLYOFFICE Document Editor supports only pre-existing allowed ranges for editing.
This means that if you open a document containing allowed editing areas in our editor in commenting mode, you will be able to make changes within these predefined areas. However, the ability to add such allowed ranges directly within our editor is not yet implemented.
We are actively working on this feature to enable protecting parts of a document for modification, but we cannot provide specific timelines for its release at this stage.
