One feature that would be awesome in the OnlyOffice spreadsheet would be the ability to mark a cell as a “Stock” Data Type, and then be able to request live stock quotes. One of my Excel sheets does this, and when I try to open the sheet in OnlyOffice, the “stock” cells show as “#VALUE!”.
If there is a way to do this via a plugin perhaps (even if it is different than the Excel way), I would love to know about it.

Unfortunately, at the moment, the feature you are describing for obtaining stock quotes is not available.
We have the enhancement suggestion to add such functionality.
However, we do not have any estimated time frames of the release available yet.
Currently, as a workaround, you can check out an example plugin cbr
(cbr shows how to get data from third party service and insert it into your spreadsheet)
