Is there a way to fix the encoding for the txt?

Operating System: Linux node70 4.18.0-305.3.1.el8.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jun 1 16:14:33 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Is there a way to fix the encoding of a document? Every time I open a text file, it prompts me to select the file encoding. It’s a bit bothersome. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Unfortunately, this feature is not available.
We are taking a closer look at this suggestion. I will update this thread once I get any news.

We have submitted a request to implement automatic encoding detection for TXT files in the document editor.
