Hi everyone,
I’m considering using ONLYOFFICE on a device powered by an Intel Core m vPro processor. Before I go ahead, I wanted to check — is ONLYOFFICE optimized or tested specifically for Intel Core m vPro chips?
I’m mainly concerned about performance and battery efficiency since Intel Core m vPro processors are designed for thin and light devices.
Has anyone here used ONLYOFFICE on such hardware? Any feedback or official info would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
Hello @luciaonmatteo
Firstly, it is important to understand which product you are referring to exactly as there are multiple of them, e.g. ONLYOFFICE Docs, ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors, and they are operating differently.
Basically, ONLYOFFICE Docs and DocSpace are accessible from the regular browser that you are using, so performance and battery life mostly relates to the way your device would deal with a modern browser and its functionality.
When it comes to ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors, i.e. a stand alone application for editing local documents on the device, it is important to take into consideration OS and its optimization for named processor too.
