I searched the forums and user guides and can’t find the instructions (so this may be a feature request, unless I did miss a ‘how-to’ somewhere).
Is there a means of sharing individual files in a Room with custom settings? Particularly for the online version?
Currently, I can customize the entire room sharing to be editor, reviewer, commenter or viewer. However, it appears that when I select an individual file, only one sharing access option is available (“Copy link” - set to whatever the room “Shared Link” default is, e.g. viewer). I would like to be also able to set the access level to an individual document. The room allows me to create multiple links (via the ‘Add new link icon’) for the full room with various access and security (password) levels. It would like to know how do so for individual files within the room.
Note: I have set up a Public Room to ensure I have maximum sharing ability.
For example:

If a give some people edit access to the room and work on the files in it, I would still like to share one of those files in view-only to other people who I haven’t given room access to (and don’t want to give full room access even in view only permission).

Conversely, I grant view permission only to people for the room (and files therein) but then want to give a few individuals edit access to a file or subset of files in the room. Again, I would need to provide them a custom link to that file and I don’t see the means to do so.

I don’t want to give anyone full room access (edit, view or otherwise) but just want to share select files from that room with others with varying permissions.

I noticed that I can customize the individual file sharing permissions inside a folder in the “Documents” section (note: that may satisfy situation 3 above). But if I then do want to share the folder with someone, I am prompted that it will be made into a room (which will then defeat the ability to share a folder and retain customized shared link permissions for files within the folder).
This is particularly important for sharing to external/ non-OnlyOffice account holders.
Please let me know if there is something I am doing wrong or if this is indeed a feature suggestion.

Online editors: ONLYOFFICE Docs v.8.2.2.22
OS: Win10
Browser version: Firefox (latest version) tested in other chrome-based browsers w/ same result.
