Implementing the x-callback-url functionality

Using external hyperlinks in DocSpace is constrained right now to URLs beginning with https:// It would be very help if the application understood other URLs such as joplin://x-callback-url/openFolder?id=1234 We use Joplin which is an open source Notes like tool If I took this URL and paste it into my browser, the Joplin app would be launched and the indicated notebook would be opened. We are creating a text document in Docspace that needs to be able to link to Joplin notebooks. At this point in time we cannot do this. More info on the x-callback-url functionality can be found at https://x-callback-url.com/ This specification is widely implemented on Apple devices and apparently Chrome based browsers understand the URL and how to pass it to the respective application. We cannot hyperlink to Joplin documents using Docspace as the tool gives us an error when attempting to create a hyperlink beginning with joplin://

Could you please confirm which version of ONLYOFFICE Docs you are currently using?

Also, just to ensure I have understood correctly, are you looking to have the ability to insert links in the format joplin://x-callback-url/openFolder?id=1234 into the editor for spreadsheets, documents, or presentations? This clarification will assist us in addressing your request more accurately.

We are using 12.7.0.1936.

Yes we are looking to allow hyperlinks in OnlyOffice documents that begin with a string other than https://. Your example below is correct. This functionality works in Microsoft Word, OnlyOffice does not mimic this behavior.

Thanks for looking into this. We are currently still trying it out to decide if the product will work for us and our workflow. This is one issue that came up in our testing.
