Hi! I’d like to know if there any way to get current document file path from the plugin (or using document builder api).

Could you please provide an example scenario how you want to use it?
Additionally, are we talking about such possibility for Document Server?

Hello.
I want to use spreadsheet files as data sources for other documents.

Sample scenario:

  • open any document,
  • open any spreadsheet,
  • make ‘link’ to spreadsheet data (instead of copy/pasting this data) and add OLE object dependent on that data to the document (using plugin),
  • be able to update OLE using data from spreadsheet with no need to open spreadsheet and copy/paste data manually.

For now, it is only planned for Desktop editors
