How to deselect cells from selected ranges in Spreadsheet

Hi I am not sure but can i remove certain cells from selected ranges. See the attached gif below of what i mean.

I have had this similar feature in excel, and wandering if it is possible to do this or not.

Currently we do not have this feature implemented in our Desktop editors.

We already have this suggestion with number 46398 to add this function in further releases.

This is a feature I use pretty regularly to format text and data in spreadsheets, and I’m by no means a spreadsheet power user. This would be a HUGE impediment to any serious spreadsheeter.

I love the software for the most part, but to be a serious contender against Microsoft Office, Google Docs, hell even LibreOffice… this is a must-implement feature.
