When creating or editing the function which includes a cell range (e.g. B2:B8) changing cell references by using the F4 key does not work. The F4 key only works on single cell references such as C2, but not a range such as B2:B8. Is there any way to fix the reference other than by manually entering preceding $ characters in the reference to the cell range?
Hello @steelenz
Information on how to change cell reference type on macOS was provided in your previous topic, please see it here:
Placing a cursor into the referenced array and using mentioned combination Fn+F4 will change reference type.

Hello @Constantine
Thank you for your remarks. However, this does not solve the problem when the cell reference is to another sheet of the same spreadsheet file. In this case, the F4 key neither works for single cell references (e.g. Sheet2!A1), nor references to a cell range (e.g. Sheet2!A1:A7). Is there a solution for this?
