Find replace on special characters (tab)

I would like to know how to use find replace to insert tabs where there are currently multiple spaces (4) used to separate columns in my document text
Document Server version:
Type of installation of the Document Server (docker, deb/rpm, exe)
OS: PopUbuntu 20.04
Browser version: firefox

Could you please describe in detail what exactly are the difficulties? There’s Find and Replace feature which deals with finding spaces.
