Feature Req: PDF -> View -> Dark Document [seeking customizable colors for it]

When viewing a PDF [not to edit] OnlyOffice has a dark document mode, which is nice, BUT atm does not allow users to customize colors for said ‘dark document’ mode. I favor neon green text color on a dark navy blue background color. If I could do this in OnlyOffice, would be great!

Hello @Perhaps

Personally, I have not seen possibility to change settings of “Dark Document” feature in particular in other processors. I think it is much easier to build your own theme and use it as you wish:

Sadly that only appears to alter the application’s look, toolbars and such, not the opened document.

Have you encountered a processor that allows such modifications?

Foxit PDF Reader. Starts out with default dark mode colors and allows the user to adjust background color and text color as it applies to the entire document. Zero need to select blocks and edit and change it in the document itself.

Correction, it has a dark mode, yes, and in its prefs/settings, allows the user to change any viewed PDF’s background color and text color. So I set that to my ‘custom’ dark mode colors. And dark mode it has is more a traditional mix of black background with grey text color.

Thank you for the reference. We will take a closer look at your suggestion, please await for the feedback.

I’d like to inform you that the suggestion to add customization options for dark document mode. Once these options become available, I will notify you.
