Such functionality is not implemented. You can manually set necessary style formatting for required ranges (if you have full access to the sheet or workbook) or apply styles prior to setting up protected ranges.

If you encountered any processors that allow setting up ranges in that way right away, i.e. without manually configuring them, please share some knowledge, we will surely consider it as an enhancement suggestion.
