We have the problem on several Android devices that Excel tables do not open in the cloud. They will open on the device. Other files (*.doc or *.ppt) are opened in the cloud. Clearing cache and reinstalling are unsuccessful. Does anyone have an idea?

Please share some more information:
- version of the Documents app;
- version of Android;
- a test document which cannot be opened;
- a screenshot after attempting to open mentioned document.
In general, does it happen with particular files or any of them, including new ones?

The problem only occurs with Excel files in the cloud. Excel files on the device will open.

I did some test and files are opening correctly. Back to the question:
Can you confirm that this behavior occurs with all XLSX files, even the new ones? Does it happen only in a particular room or any of them? Does the same issue happens when opening files from My Documents section? Were those XLSX files originally created in DocSpace or uploaded there from the local storage?
The problem occurs in all rooms. It only affects *.xlxs files, whether they were created in the cloud or created on another device and uploaded to the cloud.
The problem also occurs when the tables are opened in My Documents.
Meanwhile, other users in our group are reporting the same problem. Thanks for all the ideas!
I was informed that this major problem was already acknowledged by the dev team and the work is already in progress. I will let you know once it is fixed.

What is the status? 
The fix will be available in the next version 8.3 of the Documents app for Android. I will let you know when the version is published to the market and available for updating.
