Please double check the address. In documentation port 3000 is used instead of 8000:

  1. See the result in your browser using the address:
    http://localhost:3000

In your case it should be http://192.168.xx.118:3000.

Check mutual accessibility of the servers with wget. Simply use wget <example_address> from Document Server container and wget <ds_address> from the example instance - share out puts afterwards.
