I have the onlyoffice server installed locally on an Almalinux computer but I am currently getting the error in the topic above. Which what I do to solve is, uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling. The question is, why does that happen? Can you keep only 1 version? Or, what other error would it be? And I left as much as the nextcloud and onlyoffice server without internet service. only locally, a block that can be updated but that error still appears every 10 days.
Hello @infinityysteel
To be honest, I don’t quite understand your post. If you are looking for help with error in topic, then first of all provide next information:
- version of Document Server;
- installation type of Document Server (Docker, DEM/RPM packages, exe);
- version of Nextcloud;
- version of the connector app for Nextcloud.
Additionally, please provide screenshot of the connector app settings and logs of Document Server reproducing the issue. Logs are located in:
- Linux:
/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/
- Windows:
C:\Program Files\ONLYOFFICE\DocumentServer\Log\
If you meant something else, please rewrite your request to make it clearer.
Hello, thanks for answering. @Constantine
- version of Document Server;
- 7.2
- installation type of Document Server (Docker, DEM/RPM packages, exe);
- almalinux
- version of Nextcloud;
- 27.0.2
I have both services like nextcloud and onlyoffice on a local network, where through the firewall I block their access to the Internet. But it happens very often that it asks me to download the onlyoffice documents again. I imagine it refers to the templates that are used to be able to edit the documents in the web version. My question is how can I prevent these templates from continuing to update. or if I always have to leave as much as nextcloud and onlyoffice with internet exit service.
The solution I am doing is that I give them internet exit service and that’s it. That file is downloaded and onlyoffice works again.
Is there a way so that nothing is updated anymore and you only stay with one version?
My way of thinking was just blocking that exit to the internet. Actually, it does run out of internet service but still on certain occasions it asks me to download the document. Is this document that is downloaded an update or why should it be updating or downloading…
Thanks, sorry for all the drama.
First of all, please note that you are using an outdated version of Document Server so consider updating to the actual one.
Secondly, please archive all logs of Document Server for analysis. The screenshot does not reference any valuable information about the issue. You might want to reproduce the issue with disabled access to the internet and then share the logs to have most value of it.
Also, please make screenshot of such message for better visual understanding of it. Does it appear in Nextcloud Notification menu?
I have a conclusion, it’s better to let it always have internet service. I just wanted to leave it in 1 version and no longer update it. Still, thanks for the time, good luck.
