Yes, the Editor is still running after closing. In fact, it runs in duplicate!

Please provide us the following additional info:

  1. Windows Event logs when the situation has been reproduced
  2. Screen recording of all the issue reproduction steps
  3. Please download this tool to get process logs: Process Monitor - Sysinternals | Microsoft Learn
    Please follow these steps:

  • reproduce the situation

  • run Procmon

  • set up app filter to see the editor processes

  • double click on the process and show us ‘Process’ tab
