We have released version 8.2 of the Document Server where we added the master slide feature to our presentation editor. If you are using ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors app, the new version is going to be released in about one week.

Great work getting master slides functionality into OnlyOffice. It’s a killer feature.

I’m now wondering whether I can export a master slide and re-use it in another pptx ?

I figure the answer is no, because I can’t find any option to export or save the master slide.

What is the best approach currently for managing a master slide that is common to all documents for my organisation? I guess that I should create a new presentation, edit the master slide with the icons, fonts and colours required by our branding, and save it with a name like “Presentation Master Slide”, for copying whenever I need to create a new presentation?

Unfortunately, there’s no way to export your custom master Slide to another PC and use it there. We have started working on this suggestion. We will update this thread once we have something to share.

Is there something new about this point? This is really the only real problem why I cant use OnlyOffice for my presentations right now. No hurry, Im just interested if there is something new to share.
