Hello
I use pcloud for storing files and for accessing files between my phone and my laptop.
Hence, here is my use case:
I created a file on my laptop, synced it to pcloud, opened it on my phone (android) by tapping open with > onlyoffice editor.
I was able to edit it without any problem.
When trying to save it, I got the message “editing from another application is forbidden”.
I tried creating a local file on my phone, directly from pcloud. Uploading ot on my phone to plcoud. Editing it. Same issue.
Anyone has an idea of how I can do it?
Thank you
Hello @loich_ch
Have you tried storing local copy of the file on your device to edit it and then uploading it back to your cloud storage? This way you should be able to edit the file and save changes, then you only need to upload this copy to the storage.
Hello @Constantine
Yes, I’ve tried it, and it works.
However, I was wondering if there was a way to reduce this manual tasking of downloading / uploading files.
Like some only office config or settings to allow editing from my cloud.
Unfortunately, pCloud is not available as an integration source for Mobile App. However, if this storage supports WebDav protocol, you can try setting it up first and then connecting it to Mobile App via Clouds > WebDav service.
