.dotx to docx

Do you want to: Suggest a feature
I like how after I create a .dotx file and then select it to create a new file from the template it asks me to “Save As…”, however the file type remains as .dotx. Shouldn’t it change to .docx? the only option that appears is “All files” and “.dotx”.

App version: 7.1.1.57

Document Server: Nextcloud AIO - Docker Install

Hello @foxhoundvenom
Could you please provide us with step-by-step scenario(you can record a video file or make screenshots)? Do you mean docxf file format (for OFORMS)?

So that picture I uploaded shows it all. The “Meeting Minutes.dotx” file was created. When I click on that file, it opens the prompt to “Save As…”, and under save as file type shouldn’t it change to a .docx file? Since a .dotx is a template, you don’t want to save the template again, rather though save as a .docx file.

Thank you for your description, we are checking the situation.
