Does an on-prem install communicate in any way with the internet or 3rd parties

We are looking at an on-prem version of DocSpace for a sensitive project. We need assurances that an on-prem install does NOT communicate with the internet or 3rd parties in any manner (or if it does we need to know exactly the nature of the network traffic). This project is sensitive enough that our group is forbidden to use the enterprise O365 to conduct our work and we use a completely separate LAN with it’s own ISP connection with no bridging to the enterprise LAN. I looked through the forums and what docs I could find. I also signed up for a “To be Schedule” webinar on DocSpace OnPrem installation. So far I have run a packet capture on a client PC, next steps are to run BurpSuite on the client and do a packet capture on the Linux server hosting the OnlyOffice install.

Can anyone point me to docs that will definitively answer this question?

Thanks in Advance,
Bob

Hello @bobmorning

DocSpace requires connection to the Internet to download and install various dependencies. However, I am not exactly sure right now what services or dependencies may require Internet connection. I will address this question and let you know about the results.

In general, I have to admit that installation in such environment has not been tested, hence we cannot predict what kind of difficulties you may face during the installation of DocSpace.
