… just out of curiosity, do any other Applications leave a 1px gap for the taskbar?
I use Win 10, and in its “hidden mode” it leave 1px bar behind as a detection space, so when the mouse hovers over, it knows to pop the taskbar back on to the screen. I also get the same result with other “pop-up” bars I have employed in the past.
I watched a video about Win 11’s taskbar pop-up, and it showed a 1px bar remaining, so I just wondered if Win 11 was leaving a transparent detection zone in place due to some other setting.

Yes, there is such a bug. We know about it.
We will try to fix bug in the next versions.
on windows 11, I still have Steam displaying the strip
