I would like to know does Onlyoffice has Custom substitution feature like google docs has
- if yes, where is that and how to use
- if no, would not it sound good to have it.
Feature: “Custom substitution”
Visually can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TO4Kvayv58
Logically: Custom text shortcuts that can be automatically changes to anything depending on user’s custom configuration.
Document Server version: I checked on the 8.1.1 and didn’t find this
OS: Mac
Browser version: Chrome 130.0.6723.117
Hello @artur_m
I believe we have to consider it as a suggestion for future releases as no such feature is available currently. We are taking closer look at suggested enhancement, I inform you once any news come up.
Hello again @artur_m
Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately, there is no such feature available.
However, it seems to be an interesting enhancement, so a suggestion was registered for implementation of such possibility in one of the future versions of document editor.
As of now, I cannot provide any timeline for the implementation, but I will surely inform you once it is released.
Thank you for the interest.
Thanks, man, please keep me updated, appreciated
