Custom filter button function

Hello,
I am reviewing the new functions that they added, when sharing a document there is the custom filter option but I cannot understand it, I checked the manual but at the moment it is not updated, could you help me by clarifying what restrictions it has or how it works.

Are you speaking about the botton Advanced settings ? More information you can find in this article. If I misunderstood your question, please provide more details.
