Document Server version: ONLYOFFICE Docs
Connector version: version 7.1.1.23
DMS (platform) version: Nextcloud 24.0.4
OS: Debian 11
Hello.
I’m not an expert in Debian, but some time ago I set up a server on a laptop that I had cornered, and finally I installed a Nextcloud for my family, and we saved photos, etc.
We are 7 users, and we all connect from external sites.
Each one from home, office, with the mobile, etc.
It’s been a week since I installed Onlyoffice on my private Nextcloud and I can’t get it to work.
Both Nextcloud and Onlyoffice are installed directly on the server, WITHOUT Docker.
The office tools appear in nextcloud, but the documents do not open.
The message is Cannot access ONLYOFFICE. Please contact admin
The configuration in the integration says that it is correct
The connection between Nextcloud and Onlyoffice is correct
nginx listens for http ports at 88, and https at 448, and is working without problems
Please, if someone with more experience can help me, I would be very grateful.
Thank you very much.
I can not put images or screenshots because I’m new to the forum.
Hello @FGM
Please note that official language of this forum is English.
As far as I understand you faced an issue with Nextcloud integration. Please provide us with additional information:
Do I understand it right that Document server and Nextcloud are installed on the same server?
Connector app version
Point me to the guide which you used for Document server installation.
Please check that Document server integrated example works. You can enable it on DS welcome page (http://DS_domain_name/welcome)
Please go to connector app page > click Save button and make a screenshot of the result.
Please reproduce the issue (try to open any file) and make a screenshot of the issue.
When the issue is reproduced, please provide us with whole Document server logs folder. It’s located here:
docker: /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/logs/documentserver/
deb\rpm: /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/
When the problem is reproduced, please provide us with the entire Document Server log folder. Is here:
docker: /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/logs/documentserver/
deb\rpm: /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/
Can the error log be here?
var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver#
converter docservice metrics nginx.error.log
Yes, please provide us with these folders. You can place it to external storage and provide us with download link.
Do I understand correctly that Document server and Nextcloud are installed on the same server?
Yeah that’s right
Usually we recommend to use separate clean server for Document Server installation. It’s necessary to avoid dependencies and port conflicts.
Verify that the document server built-in sample works. You can enable it on the DS welcome page (http://DS_domain_name/welcome)
It worked when I installed it and now it doesn’t.
Please go to the host and run supervisorctl status all > make a screenshot of the result. If it’s necessary, you can restart all services via supervisorctl restart all.
NB! We recommend to prepare whole server backup before any server side actions just in case.
Good afternoon. I also encountered the problem “Please contact the administrator” When configuring the ownCloud connector (192.168.1.9) I specify the server address with ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition (192.168.1.222) all server parameters are visible. I can choose document types and everything else. ownCloud has a + button for creating all types of documents. But here’s the trouble when creating (or de-editing a previously uploaded document) it pops up “The ONLYOFFICE application is not available. Please contact the administrator.” If you press F 12 on Google Chrome, then in the network tab you can see the error "Access to script at ‘http://192.168.1.222:8000/web-apps/apps/api/documents/api.js’ from origin ‘http:/ /cloud.anhorsayli.uz’ has been blocked by CORS policy: The request client is not a secure context and the resource is in more-private address space private.
"
There are no errors in the logs on the ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition server side.
/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/converter/epr.log
/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/docservice/epr.log
/var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/metrics/ep.log
they are all empty.
All necessary ports seem to work and listen.
Still trying to find where the error is. I already think that it is not on the side of ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition. All the same, probably an error somewhere on the server side with ownCloud 10.11.0 (stable)
Hello @MrTank
According to the error entry which you faced, it looks like your browser blocks the request from from a less private network resource.
If you’re using Chrome, it is probably caused by the following policy: Private Network Access update: Introducing a deprecation trial - Chrome Developers. The article describes multiple ways of solving the issue, including switching both resources to HTTPS.
Is it possible to resolve both sides to domain names and obtain SSL certificates?
If it doesn’t help, please reproduce the issue > make screenshots > provide us with whole Document server logs folder. It’s located here:
docker: /app/onlyoffice/DocumentServer/logs/documentserver/
deb\rpm: /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/
Windows: Program Files\ONLYOFFICE\DocumentServer\log
Also please let us know your OS, Document server version and guide which you used for installation.
