Can I clear out the default files and folders from the Files area?

By default after my hosting service installed NextCloud for me, the platform’s Files area has several folders, e.g. Documents, Talks, Images, and some files, including Readme.md

I know that Readme.md is used by Files to create the header for the files listing in a folder.

Otherwise, can I just delete everything? Is there any other functionality dependent on the presence of any of these files? For instance, NextCloud.png?

your question has to do with nextcloud.this is support for only office.
i suggest you to read here Skeleton folders - #2 by just - ℹ️ Support - Nextcloud community
in case you want just empty files inside new users do what it says otherway create a new folder with the things u want to have in !!!
