Android Documents App Cloud Functionality Loses Google Drive Connection Very Rapidly

On the Android app, after connecting the Clouds functionality to Google Drive, the connection is lost after ~1 hr and I have to reconnect. This is in stark contrast to the OnlyOffice Documents app on the iPad where the connection to Google Drive is maintained perpetually.
