Do you want to: Report a bug
problem: When I add a watermark to a document that has short top margin, an additional space is getting added above the content hence changing the alignment of the document

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use a document that has a very short top margin
  2. Insert a watermark that is diagonally aligned (image or text)
  3. Notice that there is additional space above the content after this

Hello @amritasinghbg

This is expected behavior, because Watermarks are added to the footer to make them visible on each page and if your document does not have configured footer, then it is created to add watermark which makes a space on top, i.e. occupied by footer. Same behavior occurs in other word processors.

I hope it helps.
