When we enter any onlyoffice app and go to Protection tab and when we click on protection(except presentation where there is no protection option), we only have option for password. Make the following:

Add pin as the second protection. And let us choose do we want to protect onlyoffice apps with pin or password.

There isn’t any protection for presentation, add password and pin and let us choose do we want to protect Presentation with pin or password.
I’m not talking here about the option “Encrypt with password”.

ONLYOFFICE editors uses OOXML as its core format, ensuring the highest compatibility with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files (.docx, .xlsx, and .pptx).
I think that when using a pincode (or other protection), compatibility with other editors may be lost.
Maybe I didn’t fully understand your idea about adding a pin.
Could you please explain more about why this feature is necessary for the editor?
If possible, please provide the requested functionality from other editors.
It’s not that necessary for the editors, maybe some people prefer a pin more than a password, it this does not want to be added then leave the way it is.
You did not answer the question about Presentation. Add protection for presentation, the protection is only missing in Presentation.

Probably it won’t. If the development team does or doesn’t want to add this, that’s up to them to decide.
